Stéphane Kara is a film music composer was born in Ollioules (France) . Lulled by the classical music and jazz that his mother listened to, the soul music and progressive rock that his father listened to, Stéphane began music at the age of 11, with a local band, as a drums. Very quickly attracted by percussion, he attended music schools, where he learned drums, discovered rock and funk. He quickly became interested in other styles, especially jazz and Latin music and improved with the French and American teachers. He will do a lot of live concert, and participated in many bands.He returns to his first influences, classical music and works harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration.He makes these first arrangements in 1996, composed his first score and soundtrack, pub music, which allowed him to explore different musical fields, but also the work of sound,  recording studio, and music production.Since he has devoted himself exclusively to film industry, but sometimes escape to compose for video games, cartoon and contemporary dance.

His style brings out his passion for classical and orchestral music, but also his ability to mix with other styles
